Using Fundraiser Analytics

This article will guide you through accessing the analytics for a fundraising campaign and what to do with the information you find there.

Accessing Fundraiser Analytics

1. Log in to your Member365 Administrator Dashboard.

2. In the upper-right, click ‘Options‘, and then ‘Configuration‘ from the drop-down menu that appears.

3. In the ‘Fundraising’ section, click ‘Setup‘.

4. Next to ‘Campaigns’, click ‘Manage‘.

5. Click the name of the fundraising campaign whose analytics you would like to access.

Fundraiser Analytics

The first half of your fundraiser analytics pages shows a few key metrics. We’ve indicated some of the most useful ones: the daily performance chart, which shows the amount donated over the length of time that the campaign has been active, as well as the number of donors and the total raised.

The second half shows a breakdown of payments classified by type, a chart indicating the frequency of the donations made — one time vs the various frequencies of recurring donations — as well as a list of all the donations made, including the amount, method and name of the donor.

The most useful analytic is the chart showing donations over time. With it, you can look for spikes or drop-offs in donations, and use that information to draw conclusions about the effectiveness of your fundraising methods — as well as whether your intervention is needed.

For instance, if you see a drop-off in donations, consider sending out a round of emails to remind members of your campaign, releasing a notice on social media to create awareness and appeal for donations, or simply add a notice on your Member Portal.

On the other hand, if you notice a spike in donations at a particular date, it may be worth it to try to figure out why donations increased. If an increase in donations coincides with a particular social media posting or an email campaign, it suggests that your efforts were successful and that that method might be worth repeating!

We hope that the analytics page provides a useful means of understanding and ensuring the success of your fundraising campaigns.
